WHAT’S ALL THE FUSS ABOUT?
For starters, we know what we’re doing. And when we don’t, we’re ready to learn. We think, we re-think, we create, and we listen. We know it takes a village, and we’ve got a great one.
At Piper, we believe that aesthetics matter. That small details leave big impressions. And that childhood deserves beauty, warmth, and intention – as opposed to primary colors and plastic bins. We’ve designed our classrooms to feel like home, where natural light, cozy nooks, and soft tones set the stage for calm confidence and curiosity.
But it’s not just about the space – it’s what happens inside it. Our curriculum is inquiry-based and rooted in real-life learning, created with a blend of all the greats – from the emergent and collaborative approach of Reggio Emilia, to the independence of a Montessori-inspired environment, to play-based learning and some good ol’ fashioned school-readiness (sans the soul-sapping worksheets). It meets children where they are, builds on their ideas, and challenges them to think deeply, ask questions, and make connections.

When you walk into Piper Preschool, take a moment. Look around. The art, the flooring, the lighting, the paint colors, the furniture, the music – even the baseboards. Every detail in creating our environment was chosen with careful consideration of what it means to be Piper. Every detail is a reflection of what we believe. And everything matters.

Take A BREATH. WE GOT YOU.
Let’s be real. Parenting is hard. The good news? You‘re not alone. Each Piper campus offers parenting classes from the get-go, baby and toddler enrichments, and full-day drop-off starting at 18 months – because sometimes you need a minute (or six hours).
We also have our Parent Workspace for you. Post up, work, hang out, and/or inconspicuously helicopter. Coffee, snacks, and wi-fi are there for it all. And if you need a hug, a high five, or a human adult to talk to, our office doors are always open.
Once you get settled, we love it when families bring a little of their story into the classroom. A recipe, a song, a holiday tradition – it all belongs here. Throughout the year, we host everything from playdates to parties to parenting chats. Come to all of them or none. No pressure, ever.
